If you haven't already, please visit the Staff Registration web page to review the requirements necessary to become registered with US Club Soccer as a staff member. In short, prior to completing this application, you must:
1. Be "SafeSport Trained" (request instructions); and
2. Have completed the Sideline Sports Doc-US Club Soccer (SSD) online course within the four months preceding your submission of this background screening application.
On the subsequent page of this application, you are required to upload your master "SafeSport Trained" certificate and upload the SSD certificate you receive after course completion in order to proceed.
STAFF REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT:
Current US Club Soccer staff registration is required of all individuals coaching, managing or working with US Club Soccer-registered youth players. This includes, but is not necessarily limited to, all coaches, assistant coaches, and team managers assigned to a team with youth players, regardless of whether they are volunteers or paid staff.
Those not registered are not allowed to participate with US Club Soccer-registered youth players, nor are they covered by US Club Soccer insurance. Clubs/organizations whose members are not in compliance with this requirement are subject to disciplinary action.
Passing the background screening alone does not mean you are registered with US Club Soccer. It's important that you ensure your registrar submits your US Club Soccer passcard/registration request, and that it is approved, before your participation. Additionally, background screening results and an eligibility determination for “flagged” applicants will not be considered until a passcard/registration request is made for that person.
Please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or checking account information available to pay for the background screening ($18).

TIMEFRAME OF RESULTS:
Your background screening results will generally be available to US Club Soccer within 3-7 days. This is largely dependent on the amount of time it takes the applicable jurisdictions to provide your results, which varies greatly. In some cases, it may take longer. A determination for "flagged" individuals will be rendered thereafter.
